Kinnaur -The Tribal Himachal

                    If someone wants to make themselve lost in the beauty of nature, then KINNAUR is the best place to spend their time. Extending from an altitude if 2,320m to 6,816m, Kinnaur is a beautiful district positioned in the lap of Himalayan ranges. Kinnaur having mostly the mountainous area and all the mountains are covered by the snow creating the beautiful view of nature. Kinnaur having the cultural combination of both Hinduism as well as Buddhism, which again makes it different from other places.
                     Starting the journey from the capital city of Himachal Pradesh i.e. Shimla covering the distance of 225.6kms you reach the district headquarter of Kinnaur i.e. Reckong Peo.
 Reckong Peo- “ The Land of Gods” situated at an altitude of 2300m above the sea level, creating the immense beauty of nature undoubtedly. This place is famous for its widespread apple orchards, which again adds a beautiful view to its beauty.
Kalpa-  After visiting Reckong Peo taking a short drive of 3km going through the beautiful forest of alpine trees and snow covered mountains furnished with wealthy flora and fauna you reach the Heritage village “Kalpa.” Kalpa is famous for its beautiful ancient temples and monasteries. You can enjoy the early morning walk at Kalpa which will create a remarkable memory in your mind forever.
Nako- After capturing the beauty of the heritage village Kalpa you can proceed your beautiful journey to one of the most visited place of Kinnaur which is to Nako Village also known as “The land of Fairytales.” Situating at an altitude of 3600m, Nako village is famous for its fascinating surroundings and the beautiful Nako Lake. Nako lake is surrounded by four Buddhist temples which make people to believe that Saint Padmasambhava meditated at this place for many years. Many footprints can also be seen in the Buddhists temples to make the myth true.
Ribba- After covering the higher altitude of Kinnaur you can make you follow the lower altitude of Kinnaur where you can visit to another beautiful village of Kinnaur which is also known as “The Land of Grapes”, yes it is none other than Ribba. Ribba is famous for its alcohols made by grapes by the local community of the village.
                  Kinnaur having mostly the mountainous area is also the center of attraction for the trekking lovers. In Kinnaur there are many trekking tours which can attract anyone towards itself to capture the beauty of nature and creating a bond with the nature. Here are some trekking routes of Kinnaur listed below:
1.       Bhabha- Pin Valley:- This trek is starting from Bhabha nagar to Pin Valley having a 4day trip.
2.       Kinner Kailash trek:- This trek is the mostly visited trek of Kinnaur. Every year many visitors visit here from different places. This trip is completed within 3Days ad @nights staying in the caves formed inside the mountains.
3.       Sangla to Dodra Kawar:- This trek starts from the Beautiful village Sangla of Kinnaur to the tribal village Dodra Kawar of Rohru district of Himachal Pradesh covering the one level up of nature beauty.
4.       Reckong Peo to Nako Lake:- Starting the trek from Reckong Peo and ending at Nako Village creates a beautiful bond with the nature and makes you feel the mesmerizing beauty of Kinnaur and covered within 6days and 5nights.

Manali-One of the finest place in Devbhoomi

                Whenever we are planning for a vacation the first place which comes to our mind is Manali. Manali the beautiful city situated in the lap of Himalayan Ranges, covered with snow covered mountains all over, having abundant of forest and obviously the cool weather all the seasons, even in summers. Manikaran is also famous for its natural hot water spring. Manikaran is a crusade for both Hindus and Sikhs. Its hot water spring has its own religious value. According to the story a bath in Hot water spring in Manikaran can help a lot for the people suffering from arthritis and can cure various skin diseases as well.

Dalhousie - Khajjiar " The mini Switzerland "

Dalhousie is a hill station in Himachal Pradesh , established in 1854 by the British Empire in India as a summer retreat for its troops and bureaucrats. Dalhousie is a hill resort town in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh in India It is built on and around five hills, Kathalagh, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota and Bhangora. Located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas, it is surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Dalhousie is situated between 6,000 and 9,000 feet (2,700 m) above sea level. The best time to visit is in the summer, and the peak tourist season is from May to September. Scottish and Victorian architecture is prevalent in the bungalows and churches in the town. It is named after the British governor General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. Dalhousie is surrounded by varied vegetation - pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Dalhousie has charming colonial architecture, including some beautiful churches. Its location presents panoramic views of the plains and like a long silver line, the river Ravi twists and turns below Dalhousie. Dalhousie is known for its great valleys and high mountain ranges. Places like Panchpula are known for trekking. There are waterfalls, places to trek, or to sit down, relax, and experience nature. It is 5 km from G.P.O. Dalhousie Chowk. Going there is easy by bus, taxi, etc., but going on foot is a marvelous experience.

Subhash Baoli

Subhash Baoli is named after the great freedom fighter in the Indian history, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who has spent a lot of time at this place in 1937. This place has a spectacular view and one can experience a captivating side of the nature here.

Norwood Paramdham is the place where an ancient saint is believed to have meditated in search of the real truth of God. A ceremony of satsang is organized in this place twice a year. Dakshina Murti is yet another interesting place of Dalhousie, which is a yoga institution.

Kynance

If you are the sort of person who loves exploring historical structures, then the Kynance is the perfect building for you. This residential building is located in Dalhousie and is well known as a popular landmark of the place. This building was constructed in the year 1933 by Dr. N.R. Dharamvir of Lahore. This property is not only famous for its great architecture but it also has a historical importance. This building is associated with the name of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great freedom fighter of India.

Laxmi Narayan Temple

One of the most visited places by the Hindu pilgrims, the Laxmi Narayan Temple located at Dalhousie, has a special attraction of its own. This temple was built in the 10th century and thus portrays a fine specimen of the ancient architecture.
